Job description
Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive product roadmaps: Conduct market research, analyze customer data, and define product vision aligned with market trends and strategic objectives.
- Drive successful product launches and rebrands: Lead cross-functional teams to bring new water treatment solutions to market, managing product specs, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market plans.
- Leverage data-driven insights for optimization: Analyze data to improve product performance and profitability, while conducting competitive analysis to identify potential opportunities.
- Champion the customer experience: Partner with sales and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and address product inquiries. Collaborate closely with the Business Development Manager, Chemicals who focuses on training and customer visits, to ensure product adoption and success.
- Maintain technical expertise: Collaborate with R&D and Engineering to ensure technical feasibility and compliance with industry standards. Work alongside a Chemical Engineer based in Malaysia who can provide support on complex technical enquiries.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally within the pool & spa, water sanitisation, cleaning, building materials, water treatment, or related industry
- Has a proven track record of successfully launching and growing new products in a B2B environment.
- Possesses demonstrated expertise in market research, competitive analysis, and pricing strategies.
- Has excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Can manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Possesses an in-depth knowledge of water sanitisation products (chemicals, equipment, media, chlorination systems, pumps, filters).
- Based in Sydney.
- Chemical science, chemical engineering or related fields of study are highly regarded
