Our federal client is seeking an experienced Product Manager with a proven history in digital transformations and a demonstrated ability to take ownership of results, guiding projects from initial discovery stages to the final live delivery.

The main responsibilities of this role are:

• to provide day-to-day leadership of the multi-disciplinary product team.
• to ensure the strategy and products meet user needs.
• to deliver within the time, budget and scope of the product and program.
• to represent the product team to digital and regulatory colleagues in the department.
• to maintain good relationships with industry leaders in the agriculture ecosystem.
• to focus the team on the highest priority work items over multiple sprints and quarters.

The ideal candidate will:

• have a track record of delivering technology products in large organisations.
• can deliver on a complex roadmap of work and understand how their product fits into the bigger picture.
• can build and implement a successful strategy for their product.
• can identify and understand the risks and dependencies to their product, working with others to develop mitigation strategies.
• have experience leading multi-disciplinary teams that follow agile and user-centred design practices.
• can write clearly and communicate the compelling story of their product including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people.
