Product Pricing Manager  Beyond Bank – Products and Payments

Where and how you can work

Our head office is in Adelaide. We also have offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Hunter Valley, Canberra  and Perth, and we support flexible working arrangements. This is a hybrid position giving you the flexibility to work from home and from any of our local offices.

The Role
The Product Pricing Manager is responsible for optimising the pricing of the Bank's products to achieve profitability and volume targets while meeting budgeted results. They will identify improvement opportunities and ensure timely implementation of pricing changes. As a member of the Pricing Committee, they will provide insights and recommendations to align Product Pricing with objectives, leveraging data-driven approaches. The role involves generating insights on pricing strategies, conducting modelling, and projecting impacts on business results. Additionally, the manager will monitor market trends and competitor pricing strategies to inform decision-making and enhance the Bank's performance.

In the role you will:

  • Optimises pricing of bank products for profitability and volume targets.
  • Ensures timely implementation of pricing changes and achievement of budgeted results.
  • Provides insights and recommendations for Product Pricing optimisation.
  • Utilises data-driven approaches for proposal making and success measurement.
  • Conducts modelling and projections on pricing strategy impacts on business results.
  • Monitors market trends and competitor pricing strategies.
  • Provides insights on competitor pricing impacts on bank performance.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for pricing improvement.

Effective communication and proficiency in data analysis are essential, as is the ability to collaborate within teams. Adaptability and problem-solving capabilities are also crucial for success in this dynamic role.

  • Market research and competitive analysis skills to stay abreast of industry trends and competitor pricing strategies.
  • Problem-solving skills to identify pricing improvement opportunities and propose solutions.
  • Project management skills to ensure timely implementation of pricing changes and initiatives.
