The ideal candidate.
Ideally, we’re looking for someone with solid technical knowledge of underground development mining equipment, and an understanding of its application in an underground coal mining operation.
Whether your experience weighs more one way than the other, coupling it with a strong commercial acumen and a customer centric approach will see you succeed.
This role aligns with our highly capable sales and service team, and touches many parts of our business, and our customers’. You’ll build strong relationships and credibility with all your stakeholders, whilst identifying and developing market opportunities.
Your day to day will include:
- Manage and provide, on time, responses for OE enquiries, tenders and proposals.
- Increase sales of development products in the Australian market.
- Direct customer facing activity with regional sales teams, including delivering customer presentations, supporting contract and quotation negotiations to drive accuracy and completeness into machine specifications and contracts.
- Maintain constant contact and build close working relationships with Komatsu’s global engineering teams.
- Identify opportunities for new products and product development and designs into Australia.
- Drive global alignment of product needs for the Australasian market.
You background will include:
- Minimum 5 years’ heavy machinery experience, preferably with detailed engineering, operational or underground mining experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with underground mining equipment
- Preferable experience in Microsoft office, SAP and Sales Force.
