The Postpaid Product Department is responsible for management of all Optus branded products across Postpaid and Connected Devices portfolios for Optus Consumer and Small Business.
We are seeking a Product Manager, Postpaid to play a meaningful role in the Product Management team with responsibility for driving the continuous evolution of our products.
Your day in the life at Optus
- Developing the strategic roadmap of Postpaid initiatives to support a clear & consistent ‘Why Optus’ story for Postpaid.
- Developing propositions that will achieve long-term financial objectives, differentiate Optus vs competitors, and deliver relevant products to the market.
- Leading key central initiatives from conception to implementation, internal & external collaborators throughout the delivery pipeline.
- Engagement with commercial & finance teams to develop strategies to achieve performance targets and identify operational improvements.
- Running the 3-year Postpaid product P&L down to gross margin.
- Ensuring profit or market share maximisation appropriate to product categories.
Your skills to pay the bills,
- You have exposure in product management from concept to execution, underpinned with experience driving programs of work for revenue and customer outcomes.
- Daring and creative. You see Optus’ business as your own and you are most excited when coming up with ideas that will help Optus increase ARPU, Margin, Subscribers and Customer Experience all at the same time.
- Scientific and Commercial. You have lots of ideas, and you can separate the good from the bad using science, strategic frameworks and commercial analysis.
- Customer Oriented. You understand and enjoy investigating the behaviour of our base of customers and prospective new customers, finding out how their behaviour is driving our business.
- You can build unquestioning, consultative and personal relationships across all of Optus. As an internal consultant you will develop a profile within the business as a go to person for strategic pricing thought. You will also use your relationships to influence and persuade the business to buy into your ideas.
