The Opportunity
We are seeking a Product Owner responsible for ensuring the design of products is fit for purpose, considering capability uplifts, adherence to industry and vendor best practices, and, most importantly, the impact on users. This role requires the facilitation of our clients' stakeholder involvement in design discussions with vendors, ensuring that future change requirements are succinctly identified and agreed upon.
All candidates applying for this role must be an Australian Citizen and have an ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the product Subject Matter Expert (SME) throughout the project lifecycle.
- Design solution components ensuring alignment with project scope and objectives.
- Collaborate with vendors to support best practice solution designs that meet our clients' needs.
- Liaise with Program Design Leads and Technical Project Leads to ensure design requirements are met and understood.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) execution and identify risks, providing mitigation support.
- Demonstrated experience in product design and management, ideally within sectors like our clients'.
- Strong collaboration skills with stakeholders, vendors, and project teams.
- Ability to lead and coach teams in product management practices.
- Proven track record of delivering solutions that meet project scope and quality standards.
