This role will be part of the Business Lending Product team and be responsible for Medfin transformation and technology delivery. Medfin is part of the NAB group providing leading healthcare finance. Medfin exist to make life easy for doctors, dentists, vets and allied health professionals with their practice and to help their business grow.

The role:
As a Product Owner for Medfin , you will be responsible for the end-to-end Product Owner of a squad, including communicating and maintaining the vision, roadmap, goals, plans and expectations. You will be a trusted leader for your squad, supporting members to understand the squad mission and foster accountability for the work to be done, to collectively deliver on commitments. You will use your exceptional communication and ability to influence others when coordinating and engaging with stakeholders and teams to achieve end to end outcomes.
The role and day to day will include :
- Accountable for the ultimate success of your squad's outcomes
- Represent the voice of the Customer and Colleague when developing the product roadmap
- You will collaborate with members of the squad to elaborate features and stories, defining acceptance criteria and definition of done
- Make effective day to day decisions to enable the squad to progress the work
- Work collaboratively with Scrum Master and the squad to deliver backlog, and attend all relevant agile ceremonies
- Managing stakeholders on behalf of the squad, and provide both sides with the transparency and visibility required
- Ensure communication and engagement with stakeholders outside of the squad, protecting the squad members to enable focus on their work and avoid context-switching
- Comfortable with being uncomfortable, continuously learning and improving; valuing progress over perfection
What you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar Product Owner role with in-depth understanding of relevant financial products from either a business or technology perspective
- Proven experience in mobilising and supporting large, cross functional and self-managing teams to accomplish outcomes
- Extensive experience working with agile ways of working and familiarity with human centred design techniques
- Ability to create and convey a vision to key stakeholders and teams, developing it into a shaped backlog of key features, user stories and goals in line with Domain cadence
- Comfortable playing a leadership role, including leading workshops through the discovery, development, and operational usage stages of development
- Ability to innovate, adapt and grasp new skills and content coupled with proven analytical skills and evidence-based decision making
- Experience in project delivery and knowledge of the software development cycle
- Proactive approach to problem-solving with a strategic mindset
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business or related discipline
