About the role
Enable and inspire a multi-disciplinary team ('Squad') to pursue its mission, by guiding them on 'what' work should be completed by the squad. The Product Owner constantly prioritises tasks and the squad’s backlog with the customer at the heart of their decision making. The Product Owner also ensures that the work is strategically aligned to the tribe mission and engages with other Product Owners to align and manage interdependencies. This role includes people management and is a key leadership role, galvanising the squad around a vision and supporting them to successfully deliver customer value at pace.
What will your day look like
This role is accountable for:
Strategy & roadmap – Event Management
Prioritisation of work and maintaining a dynamic backlog of work
Initiative Delivery Management
Integration and collaboration with other product areas to achieve common goals and objectives
ServiceNow Event Management Platform – Operation, Health, Maintenance of platform and downstream Event Source integrations
Servicenow Automation related to Event Management
Simplification & Automation
ITOM Event Management
ITSM Platform and Tenant management
Strategy / Roadmap planning
What will you bring?
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Stakeholder Management at all levels within he organisation
Deep expertise and prior experience in managing a large implementation of Servicenow ITOM module, specifically Event Management and Alert processing
Strong conceptual understanding and appreciation of the relationship between Event Management and Observability
Ability to galvanise a diverse group of people around a common mission and drive organization strategy with the product
Ability to adapt and grasp new skills and content, create product Roadmap strategy
Proven analytical and technical skills and evidence-based decision making.
Knowledge of ServiceNow automation and associated tooling
Good understand Data driven insights with ML and AI
Ability to participate in technology architecture decision making
Ability to transform with service improvement and driving continual improvement delivery
Proven ability to innovate and adapt to latest development in area of expertise
Successfully led projects or a large BAU change agenda
Developed and executed breakthrough domain strategies that deliver the business strategy
Successfully built a network of strong relationships and influencing key stakeholders
