Your Role   

  

As a Product Portfolio Manager for Collaboration and Property Technology you will deliver an exceptional employee experience by providing the right Collaboration & Property technology services to our users at the right time and at the right price. Your role will help define the dynamic workplaces of the future for IAG employees and ensure that the collaboration technology and Property Technology capabilities we have are a match for what our business needs.  

You will provide services to approximately 18,000 staff across the IAG group in Australia and NZ as well as partners in various locations globally. You will be accountable for the collaboration technology capabilities and products services (Office 365 - Teams, Yammer, Whiteboard, Miro, meeting room services & AV etc.) and Property Technology capabilities and products (space management, desk booking, lease management etc.).  

In addition to the above accountability, you will also be leading the enablement of Generative AI capabilities such as Microsoft Copilot. IAG has partnered closely with Microsoft on the Early Adopter Program for Copilot so there is an opportunity to truly pioneer the enablement of this exciting new technology that will change the way our employees work and enable significant business value.

Some key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to: 

  • Develop product roadmaps and initiative backlogs, including timelines for technology adoption, refresh, and retirement - ensuring that risk is always a key consideration for prioritisation.
  • Develop effective business cases to deliver the product roadmap and secure funding from investment forums.
  • Provide leadership to staff and partners that enables, promotes, and demands IAG behaviours at all times. 
  • Research and define employee segments for the portfolio. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the needs and value derived from the services across the business.
  • Determine Business needs in terms of IT technology, acquiring and support processes related your service. 
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key business and / or partner stakeholders. Facilitate and drive alignment among stakeholders on key service features and govern the performance of external partners.
  • Perform industry analysis, stay current with emerging trends and current best practices.
  • Evaluate and identify new service capabilities and adjustments in product offerings by analysing and aligning to business and/or partner objectives.
  • Manage IT product budgets based on understanding of industry benchmarks, risk and opportunity management, and cost reduction goals.
  • Sponsor programs or work to deliver on the product roadmap as required, to ensure the portfolio is meeting targets.

About You   

  

We are seeking a dynamic team player with the following skills and experience:  

  • Proven extensive experience in technology business or product management as a Senior Product or Portfolio Manager in Collaboration and Property Tech space.
  • Management of product or business unit P&L > $10m pa 
  • Technical expertise, either an engineering degree or equivalent, or 10+ years in engineering management 
  • Proven experience and deep understanding of AI Generative projects
  • Direct experience in consultancy, facilitation, or negotiation leadership 
  • Experience reporting to and developing relationships with stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Commercial negotiation and contract management
  • Tracking and synthesis of product and industry trends, short and long term
  • Root cause analysis and process optimisation 
  • Facilitation skills 
  • Financial services background / experience desirable 
  • Strong understanding of UX and Employee experience.
  • A working knowledge of design thinking.
  • Entrepreneurial sprit 
  • Passionate about delivering business value with technology. 
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills to articulate complex technical solutions and concepts to a wide variety of stakeholders. 
  • An inspirational, influential leader.
