About the role
We have an exciting opportunity available for a Product Specialist - Flooring in Queensland. This person will be able to understand application of products, and have the technical ability to promote the long-term cost of ownership benefits of our solutions to architects, builders and engineers. The role requires a strong focus on creating demand from both existing customers and finding new customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing sales strategies to exceed average growth goals and will be expected to train the existing team, as well as conduct training sessions with applicators and asset owners.
You will be a hunter – driven to succeed, self motivated, not afraid to make cold calls, and tenacious – not prepared to accept no for an answer from a client
The successful candidate will also be responsible for capturing new product ideas ensuring that the business has the opportunity to exceed industry standards and continues to lead the market with innovation.
This role will report to the State Sales Manager QLD. The territory will include applicators, builders, asset owners and all specifiers and resellers in QLD.
About you
Experience working with asset owners, applicators, builders or on building sites. This role could suit a trade person seeking a change in environment. You will have experience, resilience and self-motivation to fulfill the needs of the role above. You will have the ability to build relationships and communicate with all levels of the building industry. We are interesting in hearing from candidates who have a Technical Sales/trade background in resin Flooring.
Other skills required: Competencies in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook. Good time management and organisational skills. Maintaining a valid Australian driver’s license is essential for this position.
