The Industrial Solutions (IS) Specialist exists to drive share of wallet revenue growth from existing customers and identify new customer opportunities, specifically related to IS products and services. The IS Specialist is aligned to strategic growth plans & contribute to development of new markets and innovative products within the Business Unit and Nationally as required. Monthly travel will be required in this role for around one week.
You'll enjoy variety in your role including:
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders across respective territories to drive IS opportunities
- Grow IS revenue by working with customer to build the full scope of supply, to delivery and completion of projects.
- Delivery of product / service specific training to sales and operational teams.
- Work with the sales team to drive maximum TU and FU of responsible categories.
- Working closely with the operations team to ensure we can deliver our commitments both safely and timely. Collaborate with vendors and internal specialists to quote and deliver new products and services efficiently and where required work to develop process flows for delivery of new products and services.
- Monitor market trends, emerging product opportunities, and assess customer needs to determine product or service offerings.
- Draft and engage in tender responses as required and ensure invoicing is accurate to contract.

What you'll bring to the role
- Preferable - Advanced Diploma / Certificate in Sales & Marketing
- An understanding of tooling / assets required for shut down or general maintenance events
- Presentation skills and ability to deliver training and presentations to internal and external parties.
- A high degree of commercial acumen.
- Ability to provide profitable solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Strong sales capability including negotiation skills.
