About the role
As Product Support Technician you will be dedicated to delivering quality outcomes in applying our instrumented technologies to key mining clients on the East Coast. The role incorporates on-site installation, commissioning and technical support for our products with a focus on the Titan product. Titan is currently the leading hydraulic excavator payload monitoring system in the market, both in terms of accuracy and proven productivity benefits for the customers. Instrumented technologies are a rapidly growing space in the mining industry.
This role offers excellent career development opportunity for anyone who has technical experience in low voltage instrumentation and is a very effective organiser and communicator. Your role will be a hybrid one, blending remote work from home, office days at Goodna, and regular travel to various mine sites as needed. You will be backed by a dedicated, office based, remote support team to provide expert technical knowledge for rapid issue resolution.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing on-site installation and system commissioning on mobile equipment, ensuring engineering requirements are met.
- Compliance with all internal and customer safety policies and procedures
- Plan and conduct maintenance activities in a safe and effective manner. This includes troubleshooting, system inspections, performance testing, component replacement and clear communication of outcomes
- Maintaining accurate records of work scheduled and completed
- Presenting summary reports prepared by Titan remote support team to production and maintenance staff
- Providing training to site technical staff and operator on the use and function of systems
