Form of workTCL, a leading global TV, Whitegoods, AC manufacturer/wholesaler is seeking an experienced Product Technical Assistant for the Australian subsidiary in Mulgrave Victoria.
Responsibilities
This person will assist Product Manager to include but not limited to the following
Assist in Product Compliance and Certification duties for Home appliance and Consumer Electronics products where tasks are not limited to
- Maintaining Compliance folders of products
- Assisting in product registrations on government websites
- Assisting in the proof reading of owner’s manuals, and other applicable artworks
- Keeping track of registration status and applicable expiry dates
Assist in Product Testing of Home Appliance and Consumer Electronics
- Assist in the testing of pre-product products and check functions to ensure normal operation, relating to products like refrigeration, washing machine and television
- Television- test all functions and applications on Television product
- Assist in the testing on new production product for release approval
Assist in other general duties relating to Home appliance and consumer electronics product
- Where required, assist the customer service department with technical support in home appliance products and consumer electronics product. This may include assisting customer directly on the phone
Required Skills & Attributes
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Well organised and able to meet deadlines
- Firm analytical & problem solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Superb customer service skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Demonstrate a willingness grow with the company
Experience/Qualification
- Experience in a similar role or a relevant tertiary qualification
- Experience in Home Appliance(Refrigeration, AC, Washing machine, Dryer) repair and function.
- Knowledge of product operation
