The Production Administrator is responsible for providing production administration support to the Production Team by assisting with the coordination of production jobs to meet the schedule, maintaining production records and contributing to the efficient and smooth running of hte day-to-day-operations.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records, including production reports.
- Cross checking and reporting of any errors or anomalies identified.
- Liaise between production, procurement, shipping and other relevant departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination tasks.
- Establishing and enforcing clear safety protocols and procedures for various tasks and activities.
- Participate in safety related initiatives, meetings, training, toolboxes etc as required.
- Responsible for ad hoc / overflow administration/office/reception duties including but not limited to:
- Answering any incoming telephone calls, providing general support to visitors, contractors and staff, passing on memorandums or messages and maintaining a clean, welcoming work area.
- Assist with any other general duties as instructed by the General or Administration Manager.
Experience & Skills:
- Completion of Year 12.
- Cert II or above in Business Administration (Desirable)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative role.
- Intermediate - Advanced computer literacy with MS Office Suite.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Displays excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates honesty and integrity.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to show initiative and handle situations to the best of their ability.
