We are looking for the best and brightest minds to join us as we work together to deliver the Arafura Class Offshore Patrol Vessels to the Royal Australian Navy.
The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive administrator, who has experience working with stakeholders at all levels and the ability to juggle a diverse and fast paced workload. You will keen to work as part of a tightly knit team to deliver a seamless experience.
The Production Administrator provides administrative support to the Operations and Manufacturing Engineering departments.
This role is offered on a full-time basis on a 9 day fortnight roster with every second Friday off.

Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support, including diary management, inbox maintenance and organisation of travel
- Engaging effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including industry stakeholders and agencies
- Preparing a variety of correspondence, submissions, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations for meetings
- Managing and triaging a wide range of contacts, both internal and external
- Participating in continuous improvement, ad-hoc projects and activities as required
- Providing support to other colleagues as required, fostering a team attitude towards helping out the wider team
- Written, telephone and electronic communication
- Take/ distribute/ update meeting minutes
- Structured archiving and resubmission of documents
- Formatting documents
- Time sheeting in requisition system
- Creation of Purchase Requests
Requirements
- At least five years' experience in a similar role
- Excellent organisational and administration skills
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously, employ initiative to find solutions, prioritise and exercise discretion.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
- Ability to liaise at an executive level and to work under pressure
- Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite of products in addition to Visio
- A willingness to get involved and help where and when needed
