Located on the city fringe, we sell our products both domestically & internationally, supporting customers in the construction, commodity and energy industries. We research, develop, and manufacture our own products as well as provide integrated solutions for our customers to assist in keeping their people and cranes safe.
About the Role
Due to an upcoming retirement and internal promotion, Robway have an exciting opportunity for an assembler / tester to join our production team. You will be trained to a high standard in the assembly and testing of our specialised safety products and work in a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities and duties:
Pre-Delivery Testing as per sales orders
- Testing of third-party products.
- Testing new software where applicable.
- Liaise with production supervisor on timing.
- Documentation and reporting to ISO 9001 standards.
- System Troubleshooting and problem solving.
Production Assembly
- Soldering and assembly as per DWG’s.
- Cable assembly
- Programme modules.
- Fault finding during testing.
- Testing of completed units.
About you
Ideally you will possess experience in the following:
- Basic electronics experience
- Ability to read schematics.
- Proficient with Microsoft word and excel.
- Ability to use power tools.
- Soldering skills
- Problem solving skills.
- High attention to detail
