The Role
The Production Coordinator at Honey Birdette is a master of cross departmental collaboration. Working closely with our internal Design and Merchandise Planning teams to support and ensure seamless delivery of our new honey product drops on time and to schedule for our customers to indulge in.
Whether you’re a seasoned Coordinator or on the junior side of Production Management seeking exposure for further career development; to be successful in this role you’ll feel completely at home in an Excel spreadsheet, always having one sharp eye on the detail for maintaining accurate record keeping, and lives for the thrill of meeting and exceeding production deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong working relationships with suppliers, design, warehousing and freight forwarders
- Maintaining development costs on excel and communicating updates to other teams
- Support workflow tracking and solving production issues as required
- Assisting with price negotiation to achieve required margin targets
- Partner with the Loss Prevention team to ensure excellence in our faulty items process
- Perform reconciliation between master files and Honey Birdette’s management system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity is maintained to an exceptional standard
- Partner with the Merchandising and Design teams to achieve delivery dates set
- Issuing and approving care labels, special tags, and other packaging requirements as required
Your Sweet Spots (About You)
- You have a background in a retail HQ and/or logistics
- You have experience working in a fast paced and trend focussed environment Have a strong commitment to achieving deadlines collaboratively
- Can work autonomously and can exercise discretion confidently
- You’re a self-starter with strong organisational skills and a sense of urgency You see the value and invest in building strong cross functional relationships
