Key Responsibilities:
- Set up products, raise and issue purchase orders, and allocate barcodes.
- Negotiate pricing, ensure unit prices and ex-factory dates are accurate on POs.
- Maintain the production critical path and master product sheets, ensuring all details are current.
- Oversee all stages of offshore production from quotes to delivery, ensuring timely production.
- Place orders within allocated lead times and ensure timely sending of PPS and shipment samples by suppliers.
- Provide sample comments within the allocated lead time.
- Arrange third-party testing and inspections as required, and report and resolve production issues.
- Arrange sea/air freight quotes, monitor shipping consolidation, and ensure timely submission of shipment documents.
- Check packing lists and invoices, reconcile POs, and liaise with the accounts department for timely payments.
- Maintain the sample library and handle DHL sending.
- Previous experience in offshore apparel product development, production, and logistics.
- Strong understanding of garment construction and fitting.
- Strong Excel skills and ideally proficient in Cin7.
- High attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage time effectively.
- Experience in communicating with and managing multiple overseas vendors.
- Ability to negotiate costs and obtain quotes.
- Willingness to contribute to improving production efficiency.
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
