Australian Organic Products is hiring a Warehouse Leadto join our team during an exciting time of growth!
Who are we? We are an online retailer of organic and natural products. We're a small business with a team of six members between both the office and the warehouse. We're located in Keysborough, moving to a bigger warehouse at the end of May because we're growing and looking forward to more of that in the next year and beyond! We pride ourselves on being a positive and upbeat work environment where our team genuinely enjoy coming in to work every day, so if this is the workplace you're looking to be a part of and contribute to, we'd love to hear from you.
What's involved in the role? The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for:
- Providing direction to the existing 2 warehouse staff members by assisting to prioritise tasks. As the lead in the warehouse, you will determine the priorities for the warehouse depending on incoming stock and dispatch queues and how best to structure the team's day.
- Ensuring a clean and maintained workspace in the warehouse. This includes ensuring that warehouse staff have access to materials they need for their jobs and re-ordering these items when supplies are running low.
- Checking incoming stock deliveries, ensuring accuracy and any stock issues are reported to the office in a timely manner.
- Packing and dispatching orders
- Communicating with customers regarding shipping fees where they exceed our standard shipping guidelines. Where shipping costs are higher than standard, calculating the impact to gross margin for the order and assessing whether to on-charge the additional shipping or absorb the cost ourselves.
- Maintaining a strong relationship with our courier partners - Australia Post, Couriers Please and Fastway Aramex
- Unpacking stock, stacking shelves, and general capping and facing duties
- Hours Monday to Friday 8am-4pm.
Who is this role best suited to? We're after an enthusiastic Warehouse Lead to work with a team of two in the warehouse. These team members are responsible for packing and dispatching all orders. The person who fills this role will ideally have:
- A can do attitude - we don't expect you to have all the answers, but giving things a go and trying to find a solution is paramount.

- Strong time management skills and be intrinsically motivated to prioritise workflow in a fast paced environment.
