At the heart of what we do, our Production team operates across various areas to compost, pellet, bale and pack our products ready for gardens and commercial crops right across Australia and the world.
With significant focus being placed on managing the growth and output across the business, we are seeking an experienced Production Manager to focus on continuous improvement and execution of production plans.
What's required?
Reporting through to the Operations Manager, the Production Manager is responsible for execution of the daily and weekly production plans.
Working hand in hand with our Production Planner, delivery of set targets will be key to success in this role, and to get there, you will need to have the following skills and attributes:
- Solid work history as a Production Manager within an FMCG Manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of LEAN principles and keen to deliver process efficiencies and stability in production.
- Excited to deliver on ambitious targets, using initiative to always keep ahead of the game.
- Great communicator and love to ask questions.
- Experience developing high performance teams and the ability to influence a positive culture that matches our values.
- A dynamic and encouraging leader, taking the team along for the ride with the ability to manage performance proactively.
- Experience with labour planning and optimising labour costs and efficiencies.
- Strong focus on Safety and Quality and they're always at the forefront of how you operate.
- Not afraid to dig deep and get your hands dirty.
