Role Introduction...
The Production Manager will have overall accountability for our production output. Forming part of the leadership group, this fast paced and varied role will cover strategy, people management, delivery and process improvement.
Some of the things you'll be working on...
- Leading The Local Project’s production capabilities, contributing heavily to our strategy, processes and delivery to ensure we are providing a world class production experience.
- Management of the Production team: objective setting, performance reviews and career development whilst remaining hands on through coaching and mentorship to ensure the team is happy, healthy, and engaged.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely booking of jobs and delivery of final files.
- Act as the key account manager for high profile clients, ensuring expectations are managed, updates are communicated and commitments are delivered against.
- Managing the production teams’ schedules in a manner that ensures a consistent workflow and timely delivery of jobs against their schedule.
- Actively contributing to The Local Project’s media schedules with insights, lead times and other relevant information – with constant communication with the other creative teams.
Experience you'll need...
- Proven experience at a leadership level in the production space, with a track record of delivering world class production experiences.
- An inspiring leadership style with a deep interest in developing others, you'll be able to comfortably talk about examples of growing/developing/promoting reports.
- A solid background as a producer/videographer/editor before transitioning into a managerial role.
- Superior communication skills with a natural ability to guide and influence stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Incredibly organised with a proven track record of simplifying and improving processes to boost efficiency at a local and company level.
- Previous experience managing high pressure, critical client accounts with a track record of client satisfaction.
