AddressOur client supplies a diverse range of products to local and overseas markets and as a key member of the Production Planning team, your principal responsibility will be to establish and manage production and procurement schedules covering in-house and 3rd party packed finished goods, packaging and ingredients.
About the role:
- Timely supply of ingredients,
- Packaging and co-packed finished goods;
- Controlling materials inventories;
- Maintaining established supply costs at minimum levels,
- Minimising product & component write-offs.
- Maintaining valid daily production schedules for various production lines, across Manufacturing sites.
- Ordering and managing supply of raw materials and all packaging needed to meet production schedules;
- Liaising with 3rd party packers on finished goods requirements;
- Maintaining necessary inventory levels of finished goods, raw materials and packaging;
- Managing day-to-day relationships with suppliers;
- Ensuring BOM and MRP variables are correctly implemented when product introductions and changes occur;
- Communicating supply related issues with the appropriate areas of the business.
About you:
- Strong communication skills will be essential.
- Experience in FMCG or Pharmaceutical environments is highly desirable.
- Your advanced analytical and computer skills will enable you to undertake core supply chain analysis and reporting in support of business KPI’s.
