As part of the Bunzl Group, Containit Solutions is an importer & manufacturer servicing customers Australia-wide from our 5500m² NSW Distribution Centre.

 About The Role

Based at our Parkes 5500m2 Head Office you will be reporting to our Production Coordinator. Responsibilities include:

• Ensure all orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of materials meets customers’ expectations and business timelines.
• Effectively utilise tools and equipment to pick/repair/pack/despatch items according to business expectations
• Inspect items to ensure they are not damaged or faulty
• Pack products with pride and ensure the goods will not be damaged in transit and arrive at the end user ‘as purchased’
• Assist with unloading containers, sorting, counting, receiving into inventory and palletising of stock in the warehouse as required
• Assist with stock repair and modification as required ensuring only quality goods are sent to the customer
• Perform stocktakes on all products in the warehouse, as well as participate in scheduled cycle counts as required
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace and environment
• Wear all appropriate PPE and abide by all safety standards
• Undertake necessary training to operate warehouse machinery and equipment as needed

• Mechanically minded person who like variety in their day
• Communicates affectively and collaborates with other team members
• Team player with ‘can-do’ attitude
• Make suggestions for efficiency improvements.
• Sustains the corrective actions to eliminate repeat issues
• Ability to be resilient, assertive, optimistic and open to change
• Show initiative & assist Warehouse Team Leader and Production Coordinator to ensure smooth operations of the warehouse
• Good understanding of customer deliverables
