Our Operator roles vary and you will be responsible for maintaining the safe and efficient production of liquid aluminium by operating forklifts, cranes and trucks plus much more. Job Details
- Varying duration fixed-term full time contracts with potential for extensions and permanency for the right person
- Rotating 4-on 4-off roster of 12-hour shifts
- Attractive salary package including shift allowance and a leisure days option

- Safe & efficient operation of forklift trucks and multi-function cranes
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards
- Maintaining production schedules with minimal supervision
- Complying with Tomago Aluminium’s Standard Operating Procedures and demonstrating our values of Teamwork, Achieve and Care.
Can you demonstrate:
- A positive and motivated attitude!
- Your commitment to safety, health and environment standards
- Experience in a previous role requiring the maintenance of standards including but not limited to housekeeping and work quality
- Effective communication skills and a good team-player
- Basic computer skills
- Physical fitness to meet the demands of the work, with the ability to complete manual tasks within a hot environment
- A forklift and CB crane licence are advantageous; however, not essential and training is provided
- Previous experience working a shift roster in a similar industry is desirable but not essential
