About the role
UGL’s Manufacturing & Maintenance site based in Townsville is currently seeking an experienced Production Planner to join our team. The role will be offered on a full time, permanent basis.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the role of Production Planner is responsible for issuing the production schedule, track and report production performance and ensure work is correctly closed out. This role will work with purchasing, production and warehouse to meet production targets and contract deliverables.
About You
- Proven working experience in a planning role and/or planning environment.
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
- Strong communication skills (oral & written)
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft excel experience.
- Intermediate experience in MS Word, SAP, MS Project or Primavera P6.
- Industry experience in Rail, Engineering, Defence or Avionics is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple complex tasks in a fast-paced environment.
