About the Position
In this position you will plan the workflow for our production and manufacturing jobs across multiple production lines.
We manufacture a range of steel fencing and gate solutions, so experience in production planning in a similar manufacturing environment is essential.
In any given day we complete orders for multiple customers and the production is fast-paced and varied, so we need to ensure we get the best utilisation from each of our production lines.
Our production plan can frequently change to meet new orders and often needs to be rebalanced in real time to meet material constraints, new delivery deadlines or changing installation schedules.
We use an ERP system as our main planning tool and experience in systems such SAP, Pronto or M1 is essential.
Reporting to our Operations Manager, this key role will work closely with our sales, purchasing, production, warehouse/logistics, project management teams and with our material suppliers to ensure our workflow is continually optimised.
You will enjoy a fast-paced work environment and will be confident to make decisions that balance the best needs of the business – ensuring good workflow practices whilst also balancing the need to get orders out on time.
