AddressInnovative Plastic Solutions Pty Ltd is a leader in the plastic moulding industry with extensive experience and has a global presence. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Scheduler/Customer Liaison Officer to join our team.
What will you be doing?
As Production Scheduler/Customer Liaison Officer you will be joining the Production Team and ensuring the smooth execution of production while liaising with customers on delivery timing. You will meet commitments, satisfy customers, and drive continuous improvement. Your role key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and internal deadlines.
- Monitor production processes and workflow, adjusting schedules as necessary to address any delays or changes in priorities.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure resources are effectively allocated and utilized.
- Track and report on production performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding production timelines, order status, and any issues or concerns.
- Communicate regularly with customers to provide updates on order progress and delivery schedules.
- Address customer inquiries promptly and effectively.
- Gather and relay customer feedback to relevant departments to improve service quality and product offerings.
- Maintain accurate records of production schedules, customer interactions, and order statuses.
- Prepare regular reports on production performance, customer satisfaction, and other key metrics.
What you'll need to succeed
- 3 years experience in production planning experience in a manufacturing industry, preferably in a plastic production environment.
- Experience in Supply Chain will be highly regarded
- Experience in MRP/ERP systems and advanced Excel skills is a must.
- Excellent attention to detail and Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and adjust plans quickly in response to changing demands.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
