The Production Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the production team has the essential tools, skills, and a supportive environment for consistently delivering high-quality products on time. This involves upholding production standards aligned with the company's objectives, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
We currently have two supervisory positions available:
- AFTERNOON shift, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm - Monday to Friday
- NIGHT shift, 11:00 pm - 7:00 am - Monday to Friday (with a Sunday night shift start)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve objectives in line with company goals and monitor self-performance using the company’s performance planning system with input from Manager.
- Provide accurate and timely reports on production status against key metrics as identified within the SIG SIS system.
- Supervise, coach, train, motivate, and develop staff in line with current and future business needs.
- Participate in new employee selection and hiring for their respective areas/shifts.
- Undertake performance reviews and proactively manage employee performance-related matters, including disciplinary matters.
- Manage the new employee training program with Team Leads and determine the effectiveness of the skills and required timeline for completion.
- Manage staff rosters, staffing resourcing, and leave arrangements across departments.
- Coordinate staff training; including cross-skilling through different departments as well as technical up-skilling through the development and maintenance of a training matrix.
- Support the implementation and driving of the SIG SES System fostering an environment of continuous improvement and providing staff opportunities to submit improvement ideas.
- Maintain a positive leadership style to influence process improvement activities and practices throughout the organisation

YOU BRING THESE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Manufacturing stream.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Additional education in management, quality, and safety areas is desired.
- Demonstrated exposure/experience of Lean-Six-Sigma fundamentals.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Change Management skills.
- Change Driver- Ability to build and drive a workplace culture that can execute change to meet business objectives, whilst challenging the status quo.
- Demonstrated ability to align and manage resources to meet organisational goals and objectives.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and developing production teams and employees.
