Our Edinburgh Parks facility serves as a cornerstone of this commitment, boasting state-of-the-art processing capabilities and a dedicated team focused on excellence in safety, quality, and cost efficiency. As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our reputation as a world-class further processing site, supplying our valued customers, including large multinational clients, with the highest standards of product excellence.
As a leader, you will drive best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize efficiencies and improve operational performance. You will be responsible for supervising production operations, managing employees, and ensuring we uphold our focus on safety, compliance, and our passion for quality.
This role will have you partner with stakeholders across the business to deliver consistent results by living the principles of openness, honesty, and collaboration.
This position will have you work an Afternoon roster, Monday to Friday 2:00 pm – 12:00 am
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the team using coaching, developing, delegation and recognition to ensure they have the capability to meet performance goals.
- Manage and monitor operational areas’ performance levels, ensuring they meet safety, quality, health and environmental standards and initiating corrective actions in a timely manner.
- Implement and monitor strategies to reduce staff turnover and ensure labour cost base is productive, efficient and cost competitive.
- Identify and resolve Animal Welfare, Food Safety and Quality issues, hazards and risks.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and communicating clearly across all levels of the business
