The Opportunity:
Based on continued growth, a new opportunity now exists for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our business and form part of our busy and exciting food manufacturing Operations team. We are ideally looking for an experienced operator that is willing and able to take on responsibilities when the Production Manager is engaged on other matters and above everything can demonstrate enthusiasm, an eagerness to learn and a true want to continue and grow their career in this field. Some of the main tasks for this role include (but not limited to):
- Maintaining a highly engaged workforce with a fundamental culture of continuous improvement, quality, passion, respect and innovation.
- Actively supervising the manufacture of quality food products that meet stringent customer and company expectations, ensuring the product is made in full, on time and within budget.
- Safe and secure operation of the site, ensuring the safety and protection of all employees, contractors, visitors and assets at all times.

Who we are looking for :
We are seeking to hear from applicants who therefore possess:
- 3+ years Food processing/manufacturing experience desirable with previous experience on a production line or processing environment mandatory.
- Familiarity with HACCP, Food Standards Codes, WQA and SQF will be seen as a distinct advantage
- Work within a production line using Fillers, Cooking/Mixing Equipment, Pumps, Printers and Boilers experience is highly desirable (but not mandatory as training will be provided).
- A track record of reliability & dependability in relation to attendance and work ethic.
- Be physically fit. Capable of some heavy lifting.
- Self-motivated and able to operate in a constantly changing 24/5 manufacturing environment.
- An understanding of food manufacturing principles.
