Nutri V re-imagines vegetables and turns them into nutrient dense, fibre-rich and protein fuelled vegetable powders and snack foods. This pioneering 100% Australian owned company has an amazing opportunity for an individual looking to make an impact.
As we look to grow Nutri V, a full time Production Supervisor position exists for a skilled hands-on individual who will oversee the production in the purpose-built facility. Reporting to Senior Management, you will be the driving force to set the production plan and ensure its execution.
Your ability to build and lead a small team and balance productivity with high quality output will set you up to succeed in the role.
You will continually improve the operating procedures for the facility and your proactive mindset and flair for innovation will further enhance the standards, procedures and capabilities of production.
A solid mechanical mindset will enable you to troubleshoot on a day-to-day basis and maintain the machinery with the support of maintenance personnel.
In addition to supervising production, you will perform hands-on machine operation and cleaning on a day-to-day basis. This will involve handling raw ingredients and taking it through various semi-automated processes including, monitoring batching, drying and extrusion of various products.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Experience in a production management role in food manufacturing
- Experience leading, coaching, training and supervising people
- Ability to forecast and manage productivity
- Willingness and ability to perform hands-on machine operation
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety/Quality Standards.
- Ability to resolve minor mechanical issues / adjustments
- High attention to detail
- Competent written and verbal communication skills
- A thorough understanding of OH & S in a manufacturing setting
- Physically fit and capable of lifting 15 kgs
- Own transport as this site is not accessible via public transport
- Forklift licence advantageous
