Reporting to the Production Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing people on shift within Port Operations. The Production Supervisor ensures the safe, efficient and optimal utilisation of all operating areas within the department. As an integral part of the position, the Production Supervisor maintains a focus on performance improvement particularly in the areas of Safety, Environment, Plant Capacity, Employee Relations and Product Quality.

About You
As the successful candidate you will possess the following:
- Previous Leadership in Mining Industry is required. Production / Port experience would be advantageous;
- Prior experience leading, coaching and mentoring employees to deliver on plan and building a competent and engaged team.
- Have a working knowledge of Mine Safety & Inspection Act & Regulations.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across workgroups.
- Experience working within a Supply Chain network and Large Processing Equipment
