How you will make contributions that matter
We have a Full-time opportunity for a Production Supervisor - Afternoon Shift to join our onsite leadership team in Allansford.
Reporting to the Factory Manager, you will oversee and lead the day-to-day operations of our Everyday Cheese plant, ensuring safety, quality, production, and financial targets are met. You'll draw on your manufacturing experience to maintain a close eye on key metrics and to ensure your team is engaged and operating in a safe and effective way.
- Assist in the planning and co-ordination of production, packaging, and maintenance functions.
- Ensure compliance of division to all relevant QMS policies, procedures, protocols, work instructions.
- Maintain a high-level communication and working relationships with other departments and key stakeholders.
- Provide technical expertise to promote continuous improvements on manufacturing procedures and quality processes.
About you
- Flexibility to work Afternoon shift - Monday to Friday (2pm - 10pm)
- Certificate IV or diploma in a relevant area of competency, e.g., manufacturing, food/dairy processing & technology, quality systems.
- Previous working experience within a food / dairy production environment.
- Leadership experience and the ability to engage and motivate your team.
- Exceptional stakeholder relationship building, financial and performance management skills.
- Attention to detail, resilience, and the tenacity to drive outcomes.
- Excellent communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
