Production Supervisor

About the Role:

We are currently hiring an experienced Production Supervisor to support our client in providing efficient and dynamic warehouse operations.

Duties:

• Lead and oversee production and warehouse personnel
• Managing work orders, transfers, adjustments, accuracy of Work In Process (WIP) stock.
• Delivery dockets, invoicing, and communications of shipments with Sales Operations and Stores.
• Supporting improvement initiatives in quality, safety & productivity.
• Lodging timesheets for Itron and employment agency staff.
• Planning/scheduling monthly production and ensure competent labour is available to requirements for orders in the system to accomplish scheduled ship date (SSD).
• Conducting hiring interviews, selection, inductions, coaching, development, and evaluation of production personnel.
• Assisting 'Sales Operations' with queries and information.
• Assisting with collection and formatting product test data.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience within a leadership role
• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with speed and accuracy.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
• Availability to work flexible shifts. Will be required to work between 6am - 6pm Monday to Friday.
