About The Role
This sweet opportunity is about bringing your energy, people leadership skills, and outcomes focus to deliver production outputs, whilst ensuring the safety of our people, maintaining quality standards for our consumers and growing the capability of your team.
The opportunity:
- Lead your team from the front across all aspects of the line/s you are responsible for
- Manage the day to day operations of the line to meet productivity targets including the minimisation of downtime, waste and rework as well as addressing anomalies by root cause and direct cause and providing solutions and corrective actions.
- Coaching all employees in regards to following policies, procedures and standards of work in their daily activities (safety, quality and line checks).
- Demonstrate leadership in food safety by working in accordance with established food safety programs.
- Ensure compliance to HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practices, allergen and sanitation/cleaning management protocols and policies.
- Identify cost saving/improvement opportunities both within line as well as within the plant
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of employee engagement through regular and consistent communication and coaching with your team.
To be successful in this position, you will bring:

- Excellent communication skills that can connect with colleagues at all levels
- A proven track record of delivering results and performance through collaboration and the development of your team
- Agile decision making and ability to think on your feet, respond to issues in a timely effective manner and deal with multiple priorities.
Experience working in food manufacturing environment and using Microsoft Dynamics, SAP or similar ERP will be highly regarded.
