Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Groups lead to join a global, award-winning travel brand with a healthy groups business (over 50% of their business). You will also have the opportunity to upskill and take ownership of product with full training provided.
In this key leadership role you'll work with preferred industry partners and direct clients, manage two direct reports and take ownership of the end-to-end groups programme.
KEY DETAILS
- LOCATION - Luxury Sydney CBD office
- HOURS - Monday to Friday only
- HYBRID - option to work from home 2 days a week
- SALARY - $80,000 + super

- REPORTS - Two direct reports
- LEADERSHIP - Provide leadership to the groups team including coaching, performance reviews and one-on-one weekly meetings
- GROUPS PROCESS - Oversee the management of the end-to-end groups process from quoting through follow up, set up, reservations and successful delivery
- SALES TEAM SUPPORT - Collaborate with sales to identify new group opportunities and ensure groups remain a focus on sales calls and at key account meetings
PRODUCT IMPLEMENTATION - Working with the European Head Office, coordinate product and package set up, load promotional offers and train internal staff on new product developments - RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT - With a long lead in time, manage the relationship with group clients and key accounts
- CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT - Develop and implement the strategy to drive engagement with B2B and B2C channels
- REPORTING & ANALYSIS - complete forecasts and analysis of group business performance and work closely with revenue management and the commercial team to review product and promotions ROI
- STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT - Build strong internal relationships on behalf of groups department with key stakeholders to identify areas of opportunity, efficiency and process improvement
