About the role
As a Truck Driver/ Production Team Leader you will take a person-centred approach, demonstrating empathy and patience while balancing the need to meet commercial outcomes. Responsibilities include:
- Supervising, motivating and encouraging employees while understanding and developing individual capabilities.
- Liaising with management to ensure outcomes and deadlines are met.
- Overseeing production and product quality.
- Engaging in the manufacturing process ensuring appropriate set up, production and shut down of equipment.
- Applying quality controls during the manufacturing process to ensure production and quality are in-line with the customer requirements.
About you:
- A truck driving, manufacturing/production or retail background.
- Comfortable operating production machinery and equipment.
- Experience supervising a small Production Team.
- You are a true people person who is patient, empathetic and resilient.
- Coaching and mentoring skills to help guide employees through their daily tasks and empower them to live their best lives.
- Physically fit due to the demands of the role.
- Excellent communication skills to ensure clear and concise information is presented to the team.
- Moderate skills with MS Office applications.
- Forklift ticket or willing to obtain.
- Blue card & NDIS Screening card or willing to obtain (MANDATORY)
- MR or higher truck driver licence.
- Disability services experience or knowledge would be beneficial.
