Skill Hire are seeking a number of Team Leaders to join the team at our clients Poultry Processing facility located in Osborne Park.
These are Permanent Full time roles, with a variety of shifts on offer.
The successful applicants will be responsible for overseeing their allocated division and team, managing the day to day operations whilst ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Dispatch Team Leader
Hours: 4pm- 1230am Monday - Friday
Main Duties:
- Overseeing team within the distribution area
- Responsible for supervision, staffing and rostering or processing section
- Overseeing loading and unloading of trucks
- Ensure export requirements are met
- Receipt of product from Baiada and external sites into cool rooms
- Supervision of distribution dock, maintaining staffing levels
Production Supervisor
Hours: 4am -130pm - Monday - Friday
- Ensure that the export requirements are met to ensjure security of product transfer and that product integrity is maintained
- Manage staffing requirements throughout all departments
- Oversee quality of product to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Ensure all orders are met
Livebay Team Leader
Hours - 9am - 530pm - Monday to Friday
- Manage Staffing in the department
- Run the live bird processing department
- Process involves hanging through to evisceration then chilling
- Working effectively with processing machinery.
Requirements for all roles:
- Drivers License & Vehicle
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Previous experience leading a team
- Previous experience in the poultry or food processing industry (highly desirable)
- Flexibility on work hours - Ability to work longer hours if required
- Ability to pass a Full PEM & LabDas
- Excellent time management skills
- Effective verbal and written communications skills
- Strong leadership experience and skill set
- Ability to think outside the square
- Excellent people skills
