THE OPPORTUNITY

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Production Team Member based in Ormeau. This position involves working as part of our collaborative Manufacturing team supporting our Purlin department.

This is a full-time role, working Monday – Friday, day shift (6:30 am - 2:36 pm) afternoon shift (2:36 pm – 10:42 pm).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interpreting product drawings and supporting manufacturing products to customer requirements
• Operating roll form and general sheet metal equipment
• General housekeeping tasks
• Collaborate with Team Members, other departments and projects as required
• Participate in training for specific items of plant and equipment
• Strict adherence to critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment

ABOUT YOU

• Desirable - Gantry Crane experience
• Desirable - manufacturing or sheet metal experience  
• Essential - Forklift licence & experience 
• Essential - Strength and fitness to undertake a frequent movement and lifting role
• Basic awareness of safety standards and alertness of moving parts & people
• Whilst experience is great, it’ll be your passion, reliable attitude and personality that set you apart!
• Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
