The Antelco Group encompasses manufacturing and distribution businesses in Australia, USA, and the U.K, providing end to end solutions to the electrical, building, mining, safety and medical industries for the design and production of precision injection moulding projects.THE OPPORTUNITYLocated at our Manufacturing facility based at St Agnes, Antelco is looking for a Production Team Member (Assembler) to join our committed Operations team. Reporting to the Production Manager, this position involves working as part of our collaborative manufacturing team to assemble and package products for our trade and retail customer base.This is a permanent full-time opportunity working day shift (6:30am to 3:00pm Monday to Thursday and 6:30am to 1:00pm Fridays), no overtime required.RESPONSIBILITIESManufacture & assemble of goods to the customers’ requirementsOperating automatic & hand assembly machinesPack orders for dispatch according to schedule & worksheets (check, pack, load, label, ship)Perform QA checks & use test equipment in accordance with SOP'sMaintain clean work area & general housekeeping dutiesCollaborate with Team Members & other departmentsParticipate in training for specific items of plant & equipmentStrict adherence to safety rules & contributing to a safe working environmentABOUT YOUEssential – Problem solving and inquisitive mindset to learn Antelco productsEssential – Strength and physical fitness to undertake a frequent movement and lifting roleDesirable - Previous experience operating manufacturing equipmentAdvantageous - Forklift license and warehousing experience Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manualsWillingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and paceWhilst experience is great, it’ll be your passion, reliable attitude and personality that set you apart!If you are seeking a long-term role with job security and career progression to one day step up to Leading Hand or Supervisor, apply now!APPLICATION PROCESSIf this sounds like you, we would like to hear from you!
