Key Responsibilities: Pump Assembling: Install and mechanical components for pumps including motors, driveshafts, and pumps. Trouble shooting: Identify and diagnose mechanical issues related to pump systems, such as motor failures or sensor malfunctions. Documentation: maintain accurate records Machine Performance including mechanical aspects of pump assembly. Plant preparedness: Respond to emergencies, plant breakdowns, to minimize disruptions and maintain the integrity of the pump assembly processes. Adherence to standards: follow company policies, and industry regulations to ensure compliance and safety in mechanical installations and maintenance within the pump assembly process. Continuous improvement: suggest and implement process improvements or enhancements to increase efficiency, quality, and safety to your manager. Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organised work area. Communication: Promptly report any issues related to pump assembly, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to supervisors, ensuring swift resolution. Education, Experience & Skill: Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering qualifications with industry experience. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings. Previous Manufacturing/Mechanical experience preferred. Experience with Pump systems (High Regarded) Forklift Licence (Desired) Strong Hands-on, analytical and communication skills Demonstrated ability to multitask. Manual Dexterity Attention to detail.
