Soltec Australia PTY LTD is looking for a Program Administrator with at least 2 years of experience in Project Manager roles in the renewable industry in Australia. Such a candidate must have a proficient level of Spanish due to Soltec’s HQ being based in Murcia, Spain. Initially, the candidate must be willing to relocate to Wandoan, Queensland and then move to other project locations based on Soltec’s Australia PTY TLD requirements and needs.
Job tasks and responsibilities
· Leading and overseeing the planning, development, and execution of solar farm projects.
· Managing project teams, including engineers, construction workers, and subcontractors, to ensure successful project delivery.
· Developing and implementing effective project plans and schedules, identifying risks, and optimising resource allocation.
· Collaborating with on-site teams, subcontractors, and equipment suppliers to meet project objectives.
· Enforcing safety protocols, quality control measures, and environmental sustainability practices.
· Maintaining project documentation for various stakeholders and for future reference.
· Conducting regular meetings to review project status, address concerns, and ensure continuous alignment with project goals
· Plan and coordinate the different areas and departments such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistic and Construction to meet the deadlines of the project within the budget.
· Development of mitigation strategies in accordance with the budget.
· Development of variation orders and sales proposals to customers during the construction phase and in the aftersales period.
· Lead meetings with Senior Management and clients to report the status of each project and deviations in the schedule.
Skills required:
· At least a relevant Bachelor's Degree
· Proficiency in Spanish.
· Project Management experience (obligatory).
· Diploma of Project Management or higher and in a field highly relevant to the role.
· People Management.
· Competitive Analysis.
· Client Relationships.
· Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.
· Proficiency in project management software and the MS Office suite to plan, track, and report on project progress.
· Knowledge of the renewable energy sector and its regulations, especially pertaining to solar energy in Australia.
