Are you an experienced Program Coordinator looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for supporting research initiatives and delivering operational excellence? If so, then we have the perfect opportunity for you!
  
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Program Coordinator to join the Curtin Health Innovation Research Institute. As the Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing operational support to the Institute Director and Institute Leadership Team to ensure the successful delivery of the annual program of activities.
  
Your key responsibilities will include coordinating and delivering day-to-day operational requirements, managing grants and contracts, providing support for Institute Committees and meetings, coordinating conferences, seminars, and other public events, and supporting internal and external communications. With your subject matter knowledge and under the guidance of the program/line manager, you will be instrumental in the successful delivery of the Institute's initiatives, plans, and deliverables.
  
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in program coordination, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also have exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Selection Criteria

  • Completion of a relevant degree with subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and/or education/training.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to coordinate and implement program activities.
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal and oral communication skills with the ability to consult and liaise effectively with a diverse range of people and with cross cultural sensitivity.
  • Demonstrated high level written communication skills with the ability to construct clear and concise reports and other relevant documentation.
  • Proven ability to work well in a team, including respecting difference, leading and supporting others, accepting direction, and working to group goals.
Area Specific Criteria
  • Sound research, conceptual and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, content management systems and social media platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Desirable
  • Experience working in a large tertiary education environment.
