About the Role
As the Program Coordinator (Mental Health) you’ll be part of our Mental Health Team. The responsibilities include effectively coordinating our team projects and activities, enabling timely delivery of the Head to Health Referral program.
Your day to day responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the research and identification of pathways to Mental Health and psychosocial services across Western Sydney.
- Develop and maintain an effective and comprehensive service directory encompassing knowledge on region specific service providers. This includes knowledge of local health and wellbeing service providers, including understanding of waitlists and service requirements to enable efficient and effective referrals.
- Maintain accurate records within the database and other software, as required.
- Collaborating with Referral Team and communicating with local service providers to ensure referrals are received, allocated and actioned appropriately.
- Actively engage in workflow quality improvement processes.
- Provide regular updates, advice, and information to stakeholders on initiative’s progress and emerging risks; work closely with colleagues to mitigate and resolve issues.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- 2+years' experience in project coordination
- Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of teams and stakeholders
- Capable of working autonomously with good attention to detail
- Demonstrated intermediate proficiency level of Microsoft suite
- Exceptional work ethic and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and positive attitude, open-mindedness and ability to work in a changing environment.
