The successful applicant will ideally be a strong leader who has knowledge of Vocational Education and Training, School Curriculum and Standards Authority requirements, university and Technical and Further Education requirements and departmental systems.Experience with Pathway and Transition planning for high school students is desired. The successful applicant should be an inspirational leader, able to provide direction to teachers, students, and parents, and possess excellent interpersonal skills. This is a new position and, as such, the successful applicant should create and share a vision of what will be a key role within the school. The ability to work closely with students, parents, and outside businesses and agencies will be strongly desired. Advantageous to this will be the proven ability to create and nurture outstanding relationships with students, parents, staff, further education institutions, and local businesses.Ideally, the successful applicant will have experience in making evidence-based decisions and a proven ability to use data to ensure student pathways at Darling Range SC are relevant for all our students.
