Your Role
The Executive Manager, Program Director - Clearing and Settlement Solutions is a vital position with accountability for driving the overall program to deliver a new Clearing and Settlement solution within the CommSec Product & Investing Solutions (P&IS) Crew. Reporting to the General Manager, Crew Lead - Product & Investing Solutions, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of delivering a new Clearing and Settlement system, including planning, governance, resourcing, managing the budget, and engaging and driving stakeholder engagement.

As a Program Director, you will be accountable for the successful governance and delivery of the program, as well as working with the broader P&IS and CommSec Leadership Team to realise Crew outcomes and success of the CommSec product portfolio. This role requires exceptional stakeholder management navigating Group teams Market Operations and all CommSec Crews to deliver successful customer and product outcomes.
Specifically you will be accountable for:
- Develop and execute the program plan ensuring that resourcing and capacity aligns with key deliverables and milestones.
- Lead the engagement and escalation for dependency mapping across key stakeholders.
- Create a psychologically safe, inclusive and high-performance culture through a style of leadership that supports delivery of outcomes from a diverse group of people.
- Contribute to the broader P&I Solutions Crew outcomes by playing a key leadership role to ensure our squads and teams are able to deliver the program within an agile structure. You will be involved developing the Crew Memo, quarterly prioritisation, delivery planning and execution.
- Develop a strong understanding of CommSec's products and drivers of the business, both commercial and non-commercial. Stay abreast of external market trends (including regulatory, economic, industry, competitor, customer and technology) to inform CommSec's response to opportunities and threats as they relate to Clearing and Settlement.
- Be accountable for effective risk management, identifying risks and issues to ensure timely identification, escalation ensuring the program doesn't impact on the end-to-end Crew risk and control environment.
- Effectively engage and influence the CommSec Leadership Team and senior stakeholders across the Bank to articulate and execute our strategy.
