Manage short and long term program planning for Bravo NZ, UTV AU & NZ, Oxygen, Studio Universal and Peacock Hub (linear and VOD) working closely with Senior Program Director and Senior Program Manager
- Analyse ratings data on a daily basis to understand channel performance and formulate strategic content plans
- Create monthly schedules and yearly planners
- Manage output deals with Distribution
- Enter contract information into Landmark
- Have an in-depth understanding of competitors in each market
- Liaise with the Commercial team to create revenue opportunities around key content
- Ensure correct program classifications are supplied
- Manage annual closed captioning obligation
- Research, source and preview content with acquisition recommendations to the Senior Program Director
- Prepare acquisition contracts and manage contract execution
- Raise PO’s and approve invoices
- Staff, manage x 2 Programmers

Desired Characteristics:
Experience
- 10+ year’s television programming experience.
- A proven deep understanding of strategic content planning with relevant experience in a senior television role
- A proven track record of ratings and channel positioning success
- An intuitive ability to relate to a channel’s core demo and be able to create schedules that meet viewers habits and expectations
- A demonstrated deep product knowledge and an understanding of the industry landscape
- Proven experience in creating and implementing processes for multi-territory programming
- An understanding of the Australian, NZ and international media landscape with knowledge of the competitive and market environment
