The Role
As a Technology-Oriented Operational Program Manager, you'll be instrumental in overseeing and optimizing various procurement, payment, and subcontractor projects with a strong operational focus. You'll collaborate with various stakeholders, manage timelines and budgets, and implement operational processes to ensure project success. Any previous experience in transport / logistics will be advantageous but not essential. 6 month day rate contract with view to extend.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage procurement projects leveraging technology solutions to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
- Collaborate with internal teams to payment workflows, ensuring seamless transactions and financial management
- Utilize platforms for subcontractor management, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance tracking
- Leverage data analytics and project management tools to monitor progress, identify risks, and implement proactive solutions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analysing data insights and optimizing operational processes using technology-driven approaches.
- Act as the primary liaison with external stakeholders, utilizing technology for effective communication and collaboration
Candidate Experience
- Experience working on payment / tech / subcontractor and procurement related projects highly desirable
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to deliver in complex ambiguous environments
- Strong track record of delivering as a PM and senior C level stakeholder engagement
