Program Manager, managing a $150M portfolio within the Program Delivery and Systems team.The
Program Manager is responsible for the development and monitoring of Distribution or Transmission Programs of Work (PoW) and will have exposure to forecasting physicals delivery and program expenditure, reviewing past performance and identifying emerging trends.Accountable for coordinating development of company/customer-initiated programs including but not limited to; asset management needs input, forecasting customer connection demand and operating program expenditure.

About youTo be successful in this role, you'll have tertiary qualifications in business, project/program management, engineering or similar disciplines or have extensive experience in project/program management.Your demonstrated knowledge in all aspects relating to the asset management, planning, design, construction, maintenance and operation of distribution and transmission networks, coupled with your demonstrated experience, and understanding of enterprise resource planning information systems including portfolio and program management, program development and estimation systems will set you up for success in this role.Our preferred candidate will possess strong stakeholder management skills, combined with highly developed influencing, negotiation, and conflict management skills, and have -
- Ability to analyse a variety of alternatives, acquired from your professional knowledge, experience and precedence and make decisions or recommendations in the best interest of TasNetworks
- Demonstrated experience in PoW development and delivery within the electricity industry or similar that involves diverse, geographically dispersed assets, work needs, and delivery modes (internal/external)
- Developed forecasting ability using a range of standard forecasting methodologies (qualitative, projection, casual) desirable
