Independent Living Assessment (iLA) is for-purpose organisation with a focus on empowering people living within the Australian community, to increase their knowledge and take steps towards maintaining their independence at home and in their community. Operating across the broader community sector, iLA currently delivers Regional Assessment Service, National Village Hubs Grants Program, and a range of digital-first initiatives including LiveUp, KeepAble Sector Support & Development, and AT Chat navigation and peer mentoring programs.
The role of a Program Manager for Sector Support & Development Program has recently become available to cover parental leave. If you've been waiting for a new challenge, growth, and an opportunity to make a significant difference, this role may be for you.
The Role
In this role you will be required to lead and manage delivery of the Sector Support and Development (SSD) initiative that focuses on assisting CHSP service providers to embed wellness and reablement and restorative care approaches into their service delivery. Central to the program is KeepAble, a digital platform providing free, evidenced-based resources and support for community aged care providers.
Key tasks include:
- Manage delivery of Activity Work Plans within required timeframes.
- Promote and support KeepAble’s digital presence, including optimising the experience of users with diverse backgrounds and ensuring customer-centric service design and delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless program execution.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement within and across the aged care sector.
- Demonstrate leadership and comply with all health, safety and hygiene policies, systems, and legislation to maintain an appropriate working environment.
- Ensure all operational and administrative processes are undertaken in accordance with established policies and procedures.
About You

- Proven experience in program management of at least 5 years working within a digital-first environment, preferably within the aged care sector.
- Ability to lead and inspire with sense of purpose, set clear direction and work tasks that align with organisational objectives and motivate and empower team and others.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to forge effective relationships with a wide range of internal and external key stakeholders.
